Terms of Service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This is a courtesy translation. The Brazilian Portuguese version is the official one and prevails in case of conflict.

1. Who we are

DreamSteps is operated by LUMINUS SOLUÇÕES EM INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL LTDA, registered under Brazilian company number (CNPJ) 61.843.859/0001-57, with offices at Rua Raimundo Correia, 4, Monte Castelo, São Luís, MA, 65031-510, Brazil ("DreamSteps").

These Terms govern your access to and use of the DreamSteps platform and all of its features (the "Service").

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

These Terms are a standard form contract. Ambiguous or contradictory clauses are interpreted in the way most favourable to you (article 423 of the Brazilian Civil Code and article 47 of the Consumer Protection Code), and any clause implying advance waiver of a right inherent to this contract is void (article 424 of the Civil Code).

3. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity. The Service is not intended for children or teenagers.

4. Account and access

Access is available only through sign-in with your Google Account. DreamSteps never creates or stores passwords.

You are responsible for keeping your Google Account secure and for all activity in your DreamSteps account. Contact support if you notice any unauthorized use.

5. What the Service does

The Service runs AI-guided interviews about your business idea and, from your answers, produces editable reports, interactive visualizations and conversations with an AI advisory board. You may also request a quote for custom development.

6. Plans, credits and payment

The Service runs on credits. Every AI-powered operation consumes an amount of credits that is shown in the interface before it runs.

Plans grant an allowance of credits per 7 day cycle. At the end of each cycle your balance is replaced by your plan's allowance, which means unused credits do not roll over and are not exchangeable for money.

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions processed by Stripe. Billing renews automatically until you cancel. DreamSteps never receives or stores your card details.

You may cancel at any time through the billing portal available in settings. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Right of withdrawal. If you purchased a paid plan remotely, you may withdraw within 7 calendar days of the purchase under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Amounts paid are refunded immediately and adjusted for inflation. Just ask through support.

Price and credit allowance changes. Prices and allowances may change. Any change is announced by email and inside the platform at least 30 days in advance, applies only to cycles starting after it takes effect, and never affects a period already paid for. You may cancel at no cost before the change takes effect.

7. Your content

Everything you submit to the Service, including interview answers, business data and messages to advisors, remains yours ("Your Content").

You grant DreamSteps a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to store, process and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate the Service, including sending it to artificial intelligence providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

DreamSteps does not use Your Content to train its own artificial intelligence models.

Reports, visualizations and other materials generated from Your Content belong to you, and you may use them freely, including commercially.

8. Our intellectual property

The software, brand, visual identity, interview methodology and platform copy belong to DreamSteps. These Terms transfer no rights over them beyond the licence to use the Service while your account is active.

9. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • submit unlawful or defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
  • submit other people's personal data without a legal basis to do so;
  • attempt to bypass usage limits, credit allowances, authentication or security controls;
  • use automated means to extract platform content at scale;
  • reverse engineer the Service or attempt to access other users' data;
  • use the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent or unlawful content.

10. The nature of AI output

Reports, analyses, recommendations and advisor conversations are generated by artificial intelligence models from the information you provide. They exist to support your decision.

They are not legal, accounting, tax, financial or investment advice, and they do not replace qualified professionals. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies or outdated statements, and must therefore be verified before it supports any significant decision.

DreamSteps promises no business outcome, fundraising result, revenue or success, all of which depend on factors outside the Service.

11. Sharing content by link

You can generate public links to visualizations. Anyone holding the link can view the shared content without an account. Deciding to share, and choosing what to share, is up to you.

12. Availability, warranty and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and fit for what can reasonably be expected of it. Interruptions may happen due to maintenance, technical failures or unavailability of third party services we depend on, and in those cases we act to restore operation as soon as possible.

The statutory warranty of fitness applies regardless of any contractual term and is not waived by these Terms (article 24 of the Consumer Protection Code). If the Service shows a defect that makes it unfit for use or reduces its value, you may require, at your choice, re-performance at no extra cost, immediate refund of the amount paid adjusted for inflation, or a proportional price reduction, under article 20 of the same Code.

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Significant changes affecting paid users follow the 30 day notice described in section 15.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion through support, at no cost. If a paid period remains unused, we refund it on a pro rata basis.

DreamSteps may terminate or suspend your access:

  • immediately, if these Terms are breached, if usage threatens the security or stability of the platform, or if the law requires it, always stating the reason;
  • upon a decision to discontinue the Service, with at least 30 days notice and a pro rata refund of the unused paid period.

In either case, you may export your reports and business data before termination.

14. Liability

DreamSteps is liable for damage it causes in providing the Service, as set out by law.

If you are an individual consumer, nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or reduces DreamSteps' liability. Clauses that make impossible, exclude or reduce the duty to compensate are void (articles 25 and 51, I of the Consumer Protection Code), and nothing here removes rights that Brazilian consumer law guarantees and that cannot be waived.

If you contract as a legal entity, and only in that case, DreamSteps' total liability is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This cap relies on the final part of article 51, I of the Consumer Protection Code and is justified by the nature of the Service, whose price is proportionally small compared with the values at stake in the customer's business decisions. The cap does not apply to wilful misconduct, fraud or damage arising from a personal data breach caused by DreamSteps.

DreamSteps is not answerable for the outcome of the business decisions you make, which depend on factors outside the Service, as stated in section 10.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When a change affects your rights or obligations, we announce it by email and inside the platform at least 30 days in advance, stating what changes and when it takes effect.

Changes apply only to the period after they take effect and never retroact. If you do not agree with the new version, you may close your account before the effective date at no cost, with a pro rata refund of the unused paid period. The version in force is always the one published on this page, identified by the "Last updated" date.

16. Complaint periods and support

Complaints about defects in the Service may be raised within 30 days of the end of performance for non-durable services, and within 90 days for durable services, under article 26 of the Consumer Protection Code. Claims for damage caused by the Service expire after 5 years (article 27 of the same Code).

Our support channel is the support area inside the platform, and also [email protected]. We reply within 10 business days.

17. Governing law, language and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The Brazilian Portuguese version is the official one and prevails over any translation, in line with the duty to inform in Portuguese set out in article 31 of the Consumer Protection Code.

The courts of São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. This choice does not restrict a consumer's right to sue in the courts of their own domicile, guaranteed by article 101, I of the Consumer Protection Code, nor does it limit access to the courts in any way.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the in-app support channel or to [email protected].
